About
Welcome to Venezia Wine Veranda, a charming haven nestled in the heart of Melbourne, FL. With its inviting ambiance and a vibrant selection of wines—boasting over 120 varieties—this eatery offers an extraordinary experience for both wine connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike. Located at 5475 Lorkey Lane, Venezia Wine Veranda is not just another wine bar; it's a culinary journey that blends delectable dishes with an impressive wine list, making it a must-visit destination.
The self-serve wine stations are a standout feature. They allow guests to explore and sample an array of options at their own pace, ensuring an interactive and personalized experience. Many visitors, like Mariah Craig, have shared that they appreciated the thoughtful recommendations from the staff, helping them navigate through the extensive selection. However, a friendly suggestion from our patrons was to enhance the readability of wine descriptions—something that would undoubtedly elevate the entire experience.
The culinary offerings at Venezia Wine Veranda are equally captivating. From the rich Canard Au Vin to the hearty Duck Bratwurst, every dish is crafted with precision and care. I had the pleasure of trying the Hangar Steak perched on a delightful roasted pepper spread—an excellent marriage of flavors. The sliders showcased buttery toasted buns that practically melt in your mouth, while the orecchiette pasta with duck sausage introduced a symphony of umami that was simply unforgettable.
Dessert aficionados will also find joy here, with treats like the languid Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse Cake and Persimmon Clafoutis tempting even the most disciplined diners. Each bite is designed to impress. As for the beverages, the Nicolas Feuillatte Rsu Brut is a must-try for bubbly enthusiasts, providing an exquisite toast to any occasion.
In addition to the outstanding food and wine, the genuine warmth of the staff and owners like Nancy adds an enticing layer of hospitality. Derick Clark's experience with attentive service from his server Tina emphasizes the personal touch that makes this venue special. The lovely outdoor patio is ideal for those seeking to sip on their favorite wine while enjoying stunning sunset views.

“ Great experience! The ambiance was inviting and I really appreciated the self-serving wine stations. There were many options to choose from and great suggestions of guest favorites by the staff. My only wish is that the descriptions were written on bigger font since reading so many small font descriptions makes you get a bit tired of squinting to read. I also wish that there were food and wine pairing suggestions however only few wines at the stations listed pairing suggestions in the descriptions. Other than that, the self serving re-loadable card makes things fun and easily accessible. The food was also AMAZING. I got the hangar steak which was beautifully seasoned and rested on a roasted pepper spread. The sliders were everything with the buttery toasted buns and the orecchiette pasta had a flavorful duck sausage and an addicting umami sauce. I will definitely be back! ”
“ What a fantastic experience at Venezia Wine Veranda! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed evening out. Their wine selection is impressive—there’s truly something for every palate. Our server, Tina, provided exceptional service with a genuine smile and helpful recommendations throughout the evening. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, who personally thanked us for visiting, which made the experience even more special. A lovely touch of hospitality that you don’t find everywhere. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back! ”
“ First time was for Valentine’s Day dinner. Atmosphere was wonderful, beautiful decorations and table settings. Our server was very sweet. Owner, Nancy, came to our table to introduce herself and her husband. Lots of great wine to choose from. Fixed 3 course meal menu for Valentine’s Day was really good. Enjoyed the whole evening! ”
“ Absolutely loved this place! Great wine selection (120 wines to try) and you can buy a bottle of what you enjoy to go. Our server Ashley was amazing and gave wonderful recommendations. The food was AMAZING and very reasonable priced. Atmosphere is perfect with indoor and outdoor space. Perfect to grab a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Highly recommend and we will be back! ”
“ This place was incredible! We celebrated birthdays here, and they graciously allowed us to bring our own cake and balloons. The chef went above and beyond by cutting the cake for us. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wine selection was outstanding. My personal favorite wine: anything French. The interior is nice, with a chic, big-city atmosphere. ”
“ Had a great time here recently. First time visit. The staff was friendly in explaining the concept. Loved trying all the wines! Would definitely go back. Food was good too! ”
“ Had one of the week end specials. D licious. The Black Cod a la Plancha was filling for one person. I definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff, a wide selection of wines to choose from, and well designed food. One of a kind place. ”
“ I had the distinct pleasure of being invited to this new tapas place by my eclectic taste niece. My sisters and niece had the charcuterie board. I had the margarita flat bread. I don’t go meats. They love it. In lieu of basil my flat bread came with arugula on the mozzarella and a very tasty pesto. Everything was very enjoyable and deserved a return visit. They love the wine. The service was great and the atmosphere something to die for. Try to be there during sunset because from that vintage, mother nature spoils you with a very glorious fire in the sky. ”
